1. Graph (line/bar) - first part of table goes along, second part goes up and down label axes from table; mark on scale; use all of paper

3. Read data book - reduction/oxidation; ions; electronic configuration; masses

4. Read graph carefully -

5. Information in diagrams - look at everything

6. Balance a given equation - count carefully

7. Given an organic reaction draw another - remember bonds

8. Interpret data - as A increases B increases or decreases

9 . Read carefully
Words like big, large, high, most, thick, heavy usually go together
low pH high acidity is exception

10. Remember units

11. Answer the question - make sure answer matches what was asked
